International Tiger Day at the Zoo

July 29 @ 9:00 am - 5:00 pm

Celebrate International Tiger Day with the Sumatran Tigers ‘Maharani,’ (female) ‘Kucing,’ (male) and ‘Bimo’ (young male) at Cameron Park Zoo!

Join us for keeper talks and activities from 10:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m.!

Did you know? The Sumatran Tiger is the smallest of all surviving tiger species! Sadly, Sumatran tigers are critically endangered. Deforestation resulting from the production of palm oil is a major threat to the Sumatran Tiger. According to the Tiger Information Center and the World Wildlife Fund there are no more than 5oo remaining Sumatran tigers in the wild, with other estimates considerably lower.
