
4th Annual Climate Crisis Art Exhibit
The 4th Annual Climate Crisis Art Exhibit consists of virtual gallery A with adult works and gallery B with student art from pre-K through college. Go to climatecrisisartexhibit.org and follow instructions on the home page. Approximately 85 pieces of art derive from Tennyson Middle School, Vanguard High School, Baylor University and some of Waco’s best known adult artists. A wide variety of media is represented, including paintings, mixed media, digital art, photography, and sculpture. Judging criteria are relevance to the climate crisis theme, and artistic excellence. In the adult division, 3 awards will be given, with a top award of $1000. In the student division, 3 awards will be given, with a top award of $500. The Peoples’ Choice Award will be $400. After viewing the A and B galleries, please go to the “Vote” tab and vote once for your favorite piece. By voting, you are eligible for door prizes, including $100. The “What Can I Do” tab reveals actions individuals may take to combat the climate crisis.
