Art Lecture: Van Gogh and the Olive Groves

Join art lovers as Dr. Nicole R. Myer’s presents her ground-breaking findings on artist Vincent van Gogh’s olive grove series. Myers co-curated the exhibition “Van Gogh and the Olive Groves,” currently on view at the Dallas Museum of Art, and will talk about the exhibition that explores the series of olive grove paintings van Gogh created in his final years. A reception will follow the lecture.

The Allbritton Art Institute on the Baylor University campus was established to promote the appreciation and study of artists and art movements, offering classes on campus since 1998. Dr. Myers is Interim Chief Curator and The Barbara Thomas Lemmon Senior Curator of European Art at the Dallas Museum of Art.
