Artist Talk: Chesley Smith
Born in Waco, Chesley Smith has been involved in art education for 40 years as a teacher in Waco schools and as head of the art department at Paul Quinn College in Dallas. He holds both bachelor’s and master’s degrees in art education, and he has exhibited widely across Texas and elsewhere. His substantial body of work includes painting, sculpture, pencil, and pen and ink focused on collage and abstract expressionism.
