Cattle Baron’s Ball – Virtual Event
The 2020 Central Texas Cattle Baron’s Ball is going virtual! We would like to personally invite you to be a part of this important and meaningful work to create more awareness about cancer, support more victims through their recovery, and save more lives
The American Cancer Society has never faced a threat to our mission like the coronavirus. The COVID-19 pandemic has severely impacted the American Cancer Society’s annual fundraising activity, and we need YOUR help! While this event will look and feel a bit different, our mission remains: to continue the fight against cancer..
Please join us for an evening of socially-distanced fun while we honor and highlight the 2020 Honorary Chairman, Steve Beard, and his battle with esophageal cancer. Viewers will also have the opportunity to donate to our designated focus area of gastrointestinal (GI) cancer, which encompasses the group of cancers that affect the GI track and other related organs, from esophageal cancer to cancer of the stomach and stomach lining, pancreatic, colon, and more.
With your support, the American Cancer Society saves lives by helping people stay well and get well, by finding cures, and by fighting back against cancer.
The American Cancer Society is working to finish the fight against every cancer in every community. We are the largest private, not-for-profit funder of cancer research in the United States, investing more than $4 billion since 1946. Thanks in part to our contributions, more than 1.5 million lives have been saved in the US in the past two decades. Now, that is a reason to celebrate, so please join us.
We hope to see you there!
