Constitution Day 2021
Celebrate the 19th Amendment: Voting Like a Girl for More than 100 Years! See you at 2:30 p.m. in the Michaelis Academic Center Room 111.
We celebrate the Constitution of the United States which was signed at the Constitutional Convention on September 17, 1787. Since 2004, all schools that receive any type of Federal Funding must celebrate the Constitution with a presentation, film or activity which casts light upon this greatest document. In times gone by, McLennan has usually chosen to hold live presentations celebrating our Constitution.
For the 2021 Constitution Day, Dr. Rebecca Flavin, Baylor University Senior Lecturer, will address the history of the 19th Amendment onDr. Flavin has conducted research on the topic and is an active member of the League of Women Voters. Students, faculty, staff, and the community are invited to attend. No tickets or RSVP needed.
