Earth Day 2022: FREE Trees to Help Heal Our Planet
In recognition of Earth Day, Waco Friends of the Climate will distribute 500 trees free of charge during the Downtown Waco Farmer’s Market.
The seedlings are Eastern Red Cedar, recommended by Texas A&M Forest Service for McLennan County, and are rapid growers, evergreen, drought tolerant, good carbon sinks to fight climate change, help cool the city,
clean the air, lessen erosion, and provide habitat.
