Howl-O-Ween: Slightly Spooky Downtown Dog Walk
Dogs! Costumes! Dogs in Costumes! Join Waco Walks for a Slightly Spooky Howl-O-Ween Walk with the fine folks from the Animal Birth Control Clinic! Don’t have a dog? Don’t like costumes? Don’t be afraid! Un-costumed, Un-dogged people also encouraged! We will make a 1-mile loop in downtown Waco. Along the way we will learn about spooky spots, general mayhem, and improbable lies and legends. Special Howl-O-Ween treats for every pet! We will be out a bit after sundown, so bring a flashlight if you have one, and wear reflective or light-colored clothing to avoid becoming a ghost yourself.
Accessibility: Most of the walk will be on city streets and sidewalks, but some are very uneven. Be prepared to negotiate curbs and grass.
Hydration: Bring your own water.
Dogs: Yes! Yes! Yes! Dogs are welcome! Please be prepared to scoop the poop!
Weather Plan: We plan to walk rain or shine, so if it looks like rain, bring an umbrella. In the event that it is a terrible storm or something happens and we have to cancel, we will send out a note to the email list. To subscribe to the email list, click here: http://eepurl.com/cG7kdj
