Ephiphanies New Works Festival: “Jesus and Valium”
The winner of last year’s festival, this will be the world premiere of this incredible play, which is written by a group of local Waco playwrights! It is a phenomenal story that speaks to themes of family, love, and acceptance. Jesus and Valium explores the marginalization of LGBTQ persons in a unique and captivating way, and begs us all to ask the question why we are so willing to look at one another as so very ‘other.’ One you don’t want to miss!
