Brazos Nights: La Energia Nortena & David Beck’s Tejano Weekend Live
La Energia Nortena: Regional Mexican group La Energía Norteña plays romantic norteño music with accordion and saxophone, a popular style in the Mexican states of Chihuahua and San Luis Potosí.
David Beck Tejano Weekend: Texas native David Beck writes and records Tejano music inspired by his upbringing in San Marcos. His band includes blazing accordion, shimmering keys, cranked guitars, upright bass and drums. His sound is traditional Tejano sung in English. Every song is a dance track, every show a party focused on friends, family, and bringing the two together.
SCHEDULE: Gates open at 6 p.m. Some of Waco’s top food trucks will be serving BBQ, tacos, ice cream, popcorn and more. Craft beers are available for purchase. Small coolers are welcome, but glass containers are prohibited. An ATM is located near the food booths. Chairs, blankets and coolers are permitted. No animals, please. Free parking available throughout downtown at City Hall and River Square Center.

LOCATION: Due to ongoing construction projects near the traditional event site, Indian Spring Park, the 2022 concerts will be moved to Heritage Square in downtown Waco.
