Lifelong Learning at the Mayborn: Sheryl Victorian
Baylor’s Lifelong Learning monthly coffee meeting hosts Sheryl Victorian, native Texan and the City of Waco’s chief of police for nearly two years after 28 years with the Houston Police Department. A recipient of many honors and awards, she will speak on “Better Together: Policing Waco.”
Baylor’s Lifelong Learning is a group of intellectually curious adults, age 50 and better, who gather for lectures, classes, and trips during daytime hours. Through volunteer leadership and member participation, the goal is to encourage ideas and the pursuit of learning while respecting the diversity of thought.
Doors open at 9:30 am for refreshments; the program begins at 10 am The coffees are free and open to the public. You do not need to be a member of Lifelong Learning to attend.
