Presenters Lori Lutz & Barbara Vance know their native plants. Lutz is an expert in Texas native plants, knows landscaping and lawn maintenance and has filled her large back lawn with perennials, mostly Superstars, and spring annuals.

 Barbara Vance, a founding member of MCMG in 1996, has an extensive educational and professional background in land use landscaping and park administration. She has advanced training in Firewise Landscaping and EarthKind Roses, and oversaw the development of the Trail Wise Garden at the Carleen Bright Arboretum.
