Fire Safety Day @ the Mayborn
Join us as we engage in hands on activities and demonstrations designed to teach about the importance of Fire Safety. Meet first responders, including AMR’s 3-year old therapy Goldendoodle, Liberty, explore emergency vehicles, and take pictures in firefighter protective equipment. Fire hats and badges will be available for the first 500 participants.
At 4:30 p.m., we will end the day with a real fire drill! Visitors and staff will hear the alarm and evacuate the museum. Learn from local experts about the proper procedure to follow in a real emergency.
Treats will be available for purchase from local food trucks. Included in the price of admission. Baylor University students and Mayborn Museum members will receive free admission.
