Mother’s Day Weekend 5k and Fun Run

Join us for the first ever Mother’s Day 5K and Fun Run at Waco Surf to kick off your Mother’s Day weekend! This beach themed event is a family-friendly fun 5K and Fun Run where participants can celebrate the moms in their life! Socialize, get a little exercise, or get pampered to start your weekend!

All participants will receive a T-shirt, finisher medal (finisher ribbons for participants younger than 5) Waco Surf beach pass, and a mimosa on the beach! (Must be 21+). The whole family is encouraged to participate and enjoy the morning! Kids ages 5 and under can participate in the fun run and there will be plenty of activities for kids on site!  (Jogging strollers are welcome!)

Packet pickup will run on race morning from 7:30am-8:50am. Early packet pick-up will also be available with times/location TBD.  A T-shirt will be guaranteed to all registrations received by April 21, 2022.  Limited quantities available after this date. This is not a chip-timed event but will have a running clock available. The 5K race will begin promptly at 9am and the Fun Run will start shortly after at 9:15am.

An on-site “Spa Experience” with chair massages and foot soaks will be available for an additional cost. This is a great extra Mother’s Day gift for Mom this weekend! If you wish to sign up for these additional services, please email [email protected] to claim a spot today!

All proceeds from this 5K will benefit the non-profit Greater Waco Sports Commission, which is devoted to providing opportunities to enhance the lives of those living in Waco and McLennan County through sport and exercise.
