National Travel and Tourism Week in Waco

Established in 1983, National Travel and Tourism Week (NTTW) is an annual tradition to celebrate the U.S. travel community and travel’s essential role in stimulating economic growth, cultivating vibrant communities, creating quality job opportunities, inspiring new businesses and elevating the quality of life for Americans every day. In Waco, we will have activations and special events every single day, commemorating the importance of travel and tourism to our community!

May 7 – Pop-up market at the Waco Welcome Center, with food trucks and local artists. Free coffee and gelatos to first 50 visitors. Hours: 3 pm – 5 pm.
May 8 – Waco CVB staff at a special pop-up welcome booth near Magnolia Silos. Hours: 10 am – 3 pm. Location: Lot between Market on 8th and 8th Street Market, near 8th and Webster.
May 9 – Waco CVB staff at a special pop-up welcome booth at the Waco Regional Airport. Hours: 9 am – noon.

May 10 – Bridge Street Farmers Market CANCELED due to weather.

May 11 – Waco CVB staff at a special pop-up welcome booth at the Waco Convention Center. “Chips and Joe” break for convention attendees. Hours: 9:45 am – 10:15 am
May 12 – Waco CVB staff traveling to Texas Department of Transportation Travel Information Centers in Waskom, TX and Denison, TX with pop-up special welcome booth. Hours: 10 am – 1 pm.
May 13 – Waco CVB staff at a special pop-up welcome booth at the Waco Downtown Farmer’s Market. Hours: 9 am -1 pm.
