The subject of The Blind Side, Michael Oher, talks about going from homelessness to foster care to the National Football League and the Super Bowl during a dinner, gala and live Q&A benefitting Talitha Koum’s Nurture Center.
Using research-based therapeutic intervention, Talitha Koum partners with parents to raise children who are intellectually capable, emotionally resilient and prepared to be contributing members of the community. During the Rise Up! Waco gala, recent graduates will be introduced along with a raffle, audible auction, and gourmet meal with wine.
