Saving Bodies, Minds & Hearts
A FREE event for our communities to “get to know” their first responders and emergency healthcare personnel. Come interact with firetrucks, helicopters, and ambulances! Information will be provided on healthy living, health screenings, drowning prevention, child abuse & neglect, and much more. Get information on stroke and heart attack awareness, as well as, learn Hands Only CPR and Stop the Bleed (tourniquet use). We will be fitting FREE life jackets and bicycle helmets. We will have Car Seat and Booster Seat Check-up, as well.
The Heart of Texas Regional Advisory Council is a non-profit organization that assists EMS providers and hospitals with the development of trauma and emergency healthcare systems for the Region, which includes Bosque, Falls, Hill, Limestone, and McLennan Counties.
