The Waco Symphony – “Keyboard Magic” with Jeremy Denk

Jeremy Denk is one of America’s foremost pianists. Winner of a MacArthur “Genius” Fellowship and the Avery Fisher Prize, he has worked with major orchestras across the country.

Denk has had a multi-season focus on the music of Bach with performances in London, Bath, and at the Lammermuir Festival in Scotland, where he is artist-in-residence. His 2021 album of Mozart piano concertos was praised by the Guardian for its “questing intelligence and energy.”

A graduate of Oberlin College, Indiana University, and the Juilliard School, Denk is also known for his insightful writing on music. Denk will discuss and sign copies of his New York Times bestselling memoir, Every Good Boy Does Fine: A Love Story, in Music Lessons, on Wednesday, November 9.

“An artist you want to hear no matter what he performs.” —The New York Times

Jeremy Denk’s appearance is made possible by a grant from the Sternberg bequest held with the Waco Symphony Foundation.

Jeremy Denk is represented exclusively by Opus 3 artists.
