Waco Walks: Methodist Children’s Home

The gorgeous campus of the Methodist Children’s Home is the location of the first official walk of 2022. You’ll  be astounded by the beauty and tranquility of this Waco treasure.

Meet up location: Enter the Methodist Children’s Home Campus from Herring, park on Sunshine Street directly behind the administration building visible upon entering. You can easily walk from there to our meet up location, the Perkins Home.

Accessibility: The walk will be on paved walkways and streets, but it is quite hilly. We will be going down some fairly steep stairs, but you will have the option to go around those if you need to.

Bring your own water!

Dogs: Pets are welcome, but they MUST be on a leash and you MUST come prepared to scoop the poop. Dogs will not be allowed to enter any of the buildings. We will have a brief presentation inside the Perkins Home before the walk begins.
