Westfest is an annual event held every Labor Day Weekend that salutes the area’s Czech heritage. The festival features continuous live music and entertainment, authentic food & beverages, and non-stop family-oriented activities.
The festival kicks off Friday night with a preview party. Friday night festival grounds open from 5:30 pm – 12:30 am. Shop from arts & crafts vendors and enjoy carnival rides and games for kids of all ages!
Saturday festival grounds open from 9 am – 12:30 am. Saturday morning the colorful Westfest Parade winds through the streets of downtown West, Texas. The Westfest Parade is one of the biggest parades in Central Texas each year. You will love the floats, the bands, and more. Make sure you get there early so you can have the best view of all the many entrants.
Sunday festival grounds open from 8 am – 12 am. A Kolache 5k will be held on Sunday. Also, the annual Westfest Polka Mass will be held at the Sefcik Amphitheater. All are welcome.
