WILDTORCH
After a two-year pandemic hiatus, WildTorch returns May 6, at 7 p.m. in the Waco Convention Center, benefiting the work of Jesus Said Love & Lovely Enterprises. This year’s gala- like experience will take a step back in time to re-envision the future for women who’ve survived exploitation and trafficking on the very grounds of what once was The Reservation.
Saddle up, put on your boots and bust out your hats as we wander back in time. This year WildTorch will be about remembering stories of our past and writing hope for our future.
Guests are welcome to dress in historical fashion as we bring to center stage voices from the past (Think of the show “1883” as a good reference). The event will be catered by Jon Lillie’s,
with performances by Emily & Brett Mills and nationally known band The Union Revival.
Silent auction items, rich with unique packages and experiences, as well as a Lovely Enterprises pop-up shop will show off creative commerce of survivors and generate revenue
for programming.
As always, WildTorch will use the visual and performing arts to invite galagoers into the story. Go to WILDTORCH.COM for tickets and more information.
