Youth Summit
The Youth Leadership Summit is a program developed by educator Alfreda Love to enhance and build leadership skills in youths ages 5-18.
The morning workshop includes speakers and activities focused on developing character, self esteem, scholarship, education, leadership, community service and more. The morning concludes with basketball and jump rope contests aimed at teaching kids to take charge of their own success.
Light snacks provided. Parents are encouraged but not required to stay .
Dr. Love is an educator, motivational speaker, author, playwright, promoter and community servant. She is an assistant principal at Indian Spring Middle School in Waco.
