Come enjoy the beautiful surroundings and peace and quiet of this working ranch and wildlife preserve. You’ll find comfortable lodging in the air-conditioned guest house. Sit on the porch overlooking the private pond. Take a short walk to kayak or fish in the Brazos River.

Though only 5 miles from Waco, you’ll hear owls hoot in the woods, frogs in chorus, and sometimes coyotes howling. You might see deer and wild turkeys at dawn and dusk as you hike or jog up and down the wooded trails. A short scenic walk will reward you with a panoramic view from the bluff overlooking the Brazos River valley 120 feet below.

The house has two master suites–one with a king bed, the other with a queen bed–and two twin beds in the carpeted sleeping loft. The living and dining areas include a leather sofa, a recliner, two easy chairs, and a dining table for 6. Linens and most kitchen supplies are furnished. Guests may also use the outdoor propane grill. The house is wheelchair accessible.

The house has Wi-Fi and a strong cell signal for most phones. It does not have a TV.

Guests are entitled to a discount to rent the Pavilion and for horseback rides.
