Cafe Homestead – Temporarily Closed
Due to a fire in December 2022, Cafe Homestead is closed. The Cafe will be rebuilt and information updated here once timeframe is announced.
Also mentioned on the list as part of Homestead Heritage Traditional Crafts Village. Café Homestead offers meals that are prepared primarily using organic local ingredients. Try the jalapeno sweet potato soup, some homemade sorghum pecan ice cream, or a sandwich on fresh home-made bread. The Café is often listed as the top Waco restaurant on Trip Advisor. Located at Homestead Heritage, Cafe Homestead offers grass-fed beef; fresh buns, bread, and rolls baked daily from whole-grain flour by Artisan Oven; cheeses produced by our community’s internationally award-winning Brazos Valley Cheese company; and other fine foods, including our all-natural, delectable ice cream. Our fruit and vegetables are always fresh, and we strive to provide locally grown produce. Closed Sunday.
