Jake’s Texas Tea House

Located in downtown Waco, Jake’s offers southern diner style food in an atmosphere that will take you back to the ’50s. Burgers are served in hubcaps, and they offer blue plate specials on weekdays.

The term “Texas Tea” was originally used to describe crude oil, black gold. It became a popular term in the 1960’s.

Locally owned, Jake’s is Texas home cooking worth leaving home for! Desserts are baked fresh daily and vary from day to day. Jake’s has a daily lunch special during the week and amazing southern style, made from “scratch” meals. The 1st Saturday of every month Jake’s has Elvis in the building and the 2nd Saturday of every month Marilyn puts on a wonderful show. The other Saturdays of the month Andy Jane or other musicians provide the entertainment.
Serving many TX crafted beers as well.
