January 17 through April 12, 2015 at the Mayborn Museum Complex
Seatbelts everyone! Buckle up and get ready for a wild weather ride. Join the popular Ms. Frizzle™ and her class in the Mayborn Museum’s spring exhibit, The Magic School Bus™ Kicks Up A Storm.
Based on the best-selling Scholastic books and popular television series, this hands-on traveling exhibit transports visitors into the wacky world of weather. Through interactive environments, visitors can explore the water cycle and its relation to weather, and how influences from air, heat, water and land combine to create weather. Children learn how to create snowflake crystals, make a hot air balloon soar, experience a hurricane and snowstorm, and become a meteorologist for the day!
