Although the Grand Opening of Fixer Upper Stars, Chip and Joanna Gaines’ Magnolia Silos is scheduled for October 30th and 31st, and the evening events for those dates sold out in a couple of short hours, you can stop in for a sneak preview at the new home of Magnolia Market, 601 Webster Ave. The location is hard to miss with the huge grain silos to guide you. The site is not entirely ready for grand opening, but the Gaines family welcomed visitors to the surprise grand opening on October 12th. The new digs offer a much larger space for visitors from near and far to explore the wonders of the popular market. In addition to the market, Joanna Gaines will introduce her furniture line on October 16th. The furniture showroom is slated to open at the new location in January.

Watch Joanna’s blog for updates and details.

What are the silos used for? We’ve been to the store but couldn’t get in the silos.

Sheryl, the silos were originally used to store grain. We aren’t sure yet what Chip and Jo have planned for them, but we are sure it will be fun to watch the transformation.

Peggy, this post was from when the Magnolia Market at the Silos first opened. The Silos themselves are still undergoing transformation and are not open to the public, however the Magnolia Market, The Bakery at the Silos, the garden shop, the lawn area including shaded picnic tables, and the food truck court are open. Click here for more information. Jimmy Don is also usually there on Thursday afternoons from 2-6 to autograph his great metal art.
