Waco is a Wonderland for the Holidays!
Let it be known: Waco is wonderful. Located in the heart of Texas, Waco is famous for Baylor University, Cameron Park and the Brazos River, and many museums and attractions, as well as the hip shopping mecca Magnolia Market, created by Chip and Joanna Gaines of Fixer Upper fame.
But Waco’s appeal includes a rich history, a colorful local arts scene anchored by a downtown Cultural Arts District, and a full calendar of holiday happenings.
The holiday season kicks off with the 31st annual Homestead Fair at Homestead Craft Village on November 29th & 30th. This popular event features homemade crafts, multicultural foods, and more.
Magnolia Market’s Christmas at the Silos event will take place December 6-14, 2019 with an artisan vendor market, live music, and more. New this year is the Magnolia Press coffee shop.
Waco Wonderland offers plenty of holiday food, fun, and cheer from Dec 6-8. On Dec. 14, enjoy the Christmas Pop-Up Saturday at the Dr Pepper Museum. The holiday calendar finishes up with the Waco Symphony and Ballet Frontier of Texas performing The Nutcracker on December 15.
