2023 Waco Walk to End Epilepsy

Our Walk to END EPILEPSY fundraising event will be held at Brazos Park East 3516 N M.L.K. Jr. Blvd Waco, Tx 76702 on April 29th at 8 am. We would be honored to have your support in making the walk successful!

This is the first time the EFCST has hosted a Walk to END EPILEPSY in Waco, Texas, so we are interested to learn about the opportunities to spread the word about the event.

About the Walk to END EPILEPSY

The Walk to END EPILEPSY is a FREE family-friendly community event to help those living with epilepsy fight against the struggles that come with their diagnosis. Your participation helps enrich the lives of people living with epilepsy and their families all over Central & South Texas. This Walk allows you to share your story, learn more about epilepsy, and connect with others affected by epilepsy, all while raising funds. The money you raise will help the Epilepsy Foundation Central & South Texas continue providing outstanding programs, such as our vital clinic services, family support services, youth development programs, and community education.

For nearly 30 years, The Epilepsy Foundation Central & South Texas (EFCST) mission has been “To lead the fight to overcome the challenges of living with epilepsy and to accelerate therapies to stop seizures, find cures, and save lives.” With your AMAZING support, this past year, we served 14,085 people with epilepsy and provided 145,406 epilepsy services throughout our 79-county service area. When there was uncertainty, we ensured our patients knew they were receiving the best care!

The Epilepsy Foundation Central & South Texas is the only 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization solely dedicated to providing epilepsy services to the nearly 165,000 people in Central and South Texas diagnosed with epilepsy. EFCST has provided efficient, effective, quality programs and services vital to the community for almost 30 years! Our outreach clinic program provides direct medical care, including MRI, EEG, and medication, to over 1000  uninsured people with epilepsy! Education is the first step to ensuring home, workplace, and community safety. In addition to the clinic program and community and family education, we advocate for legislative initiatives that will improve and protect those affected by epilepsy; we provide support to help navigate through complicated red tape, provide resources and advocate for those in need, offer local support groups and we have a licensed mental health counselor to help people and families in need FREE of charge.  Your priceless and meaningful gift changes children’s lives and makes Camp Brainstorm possible for FREE!
