Baylor Alumnae: Leading Texas Libraries

Join Baylor’s Lori Fogleman as she hosts a conversation with Gloria Meraz and Mary Woodard, two Baylor alumnae who currently hold the highest offices among librarians in the state of Texas. During the discussion, Gloria and Mary will talk about their journeys from Baylor into librarianship, the state of libraries in Texas and the impact on education, and the future of Texas libraries. Gloria Meraz (BU ’90) is Director and Librarian of the Texas State Library & Archives Commission and Mary Woodard (BU ’85) is the President of the Texas Library Association. This event is free and open to the public. A virtual option is available.
