Chris Colston at the BaCKyArD
East Texas native Chris Colston brings his country rock sound to the Backyard. Doors open at 6 p.m., show beginning at 8:30 p.m. Tickets begin at $10 and there is a $5 up charge for minors.
Colston’s powerful vocals and relatable lyrics are heavily influenced by the music he grew up listening to, including Lynyrd Skynyrd, the Allman Brothers and country legends Merle Haggard and Willie Nelson. He also credits Whiskey Myers and Blackberry Smoke as helping curate his bluesy, rock ‘n’ roll sound. The title track on Colston’s 2018 EP “Gone” surpassed a half million streams on Spotify just months after its release.
