Fire Station #6 Grand Opening
Celebrate the rebirth of a beloved Waco landmark! The new Fire Station No. 6 stands on the site of the former 25th Street Theater, paying homage to its roots through design and a fabulous neon sign. Many Waco residents enjoyed the theater as children. To celebrate its reopening, there will be food trucks, popcorn, a dog adoption trailer, a red carpet and a free outdoor movie! Bring your blankets and lawn chairs!
The station also features a community room, and the department’s administrative staff will be housed here.
