The Young Festival Stage presents LEONARDO AND THE FLYING MACHINE at Ball Performing Arts Center, McLennan Community College

An introduction to Leonardo Da Vinci and other key historical figures of the Italian Renaissance, our play focuses on the well-known legend of Leonardo’s attempts at making the first flying machine. Threatened by this success, his nemesis Michelangelo… devises a plot!

This hybrid theatre piece was conceived and written by Michael Sullivan and staged by acclaimed director Jerry MacLauchlin in collaboration with Baylor Theatre. The production features Renaissance-costumed actors and puppets in a theatrical spectacle of fun and surprises, celebrating the life of the mind and dreams coming true.

This year, The Young Festival Stage collaborates with McLennan Community College to bring this fantastic production to the Ball Performing Arts Center in May 2023!
